PHYSICAL CLASSES

Expect sequences which cater to the energy of your physical self & constant "bliss" body!

POWER ASANA+ CARDIO

Asana + Cardio + Strength Building. A 50-minute full body experience! Expect flows of Sun Salutations to warm and ground the body & postures that will set you up for focus, balance, endurance, and stress relief. Body-weighted and cardio exercises supported by foundational asanas will build confidence, strength, and power! Set to upbeat & energetic playlists, fun sequences, and your positive vibes!

POWER

Power Asana + Rest. A Journey Into Power practice. Power Yoga embodies: Breath + Heat + Drishti (focus) + Abdominal Lock + Asana Flow. Breathe, move, ground yourself, and be with your powerful body & whole spirit. Expect a journey of Asanas embracing breath-to-movement transitions, to keep energy flowing. Sequences will be kept similar to allow you to learn quickly, build muscle memory, practice uniquely & notice progressions.

POWER & MEDITATION

Power Asana + Rest + Meditation. Expect a journey of Asanas to embody this moving meditation, embracing a Vinyasa flow and supple breath. Create depth, focus, and maintain presence in the movements, which can be quick & held for up to a minute or more. Every practice includes guided meditation.

POWER SLOW FLOW

Slow It Down. Power Asana + Rest. A beautiful combination of luscious Power sequencing & movement, slowed down for your embodiment. Take your time. Breathe your breath. Step intentionally & stay awhile. The journey of Asanas will be lit up by your concentration, breath, and presence. Utilize the essential cueing for this practice, so you can listen to your internal guide.

Subtle Energy Classes

Sequences which connect the physical, spiritual, and the mind body. Embrace your expansiveness, wisdom & reflective consciousness. Be more of who you really are.

YIN YOGA

Allow movement of stuck energy and welcome in rest. Postures are held for 3-5+ minutes to allow for passivity of musculature and subsequent stretching of the joint spaces. A resolute complement to Yang movements such as running, cycling, strength training, HIIT, etc. Invite in greater range of motion and overall flexibility with mostly ground/floor-based postures to open the connective tissue, fascia & subtle body. Allow the gentle traction of connective tissues to illuminate your internal spaces. Say hello to your subtle energy. Release muscular stress & tension. Embrace time for stillness of your mind. Class is donation-based on Tuesdays at 4:30pm *starting Oct 8th* at Living Water Community Center, 1000 Westover Hills Blvd, Richmond, VA 23225.

YIN, PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

Yin Asana + Breathwork+ Meditation. Time for a lil' extra. Witness the whole of your breath, body, and mind embodying the subtle nature. Internal reflection, deep concentration, exploration of sensation, and movement of energy are all available to you, every time. Release and restore yourself while spending time in mostly grounded postures. Breathwork complements each Asana practice & guided meditation leads or concludes each class. Bliss.

ESSENTIAL FLOW

Vinyasa + Yin. Sometimes you need it both ways! A delicious blend of breath to movement flow & floor-based postures in this practice! Initial heat is built & your power is maintained through engaging flows & long holds! Attention ultimately shifts to opening the fascia, connective tissues & joint spaces in the body. These ground/floor-based postures will be passively held for 3-5+ minutes to support increase of flexibility & range of motion. Get to know your internal subtleness while embracing freedom of being.

GENTLE VINYASA

*60 MIN*

Gentle flow Vinyasa. Synchronous breathing from posture to posture. Emphasis is placed on subtle experiences & sensations of the body and mind. Expect to move intentionally with your own unique expression throughout a sequence of seated, standing, and ground-based postures. Class is donation-based on 2nd Saturdays at 9:30am at Living Water Community Center, 1000 Westover Hills Blvd, Richmond, VA 23225.

Healthcare workers, Wellness Practitioners, First Responders, Educators, Faith Leaders, Military, Transportation, Food Distribution, Skilled Trades & Industry friends, you always matter to me & our communities. I am committed to offering yoga classes to help support your practice. 75 min Yin classes are free, as an offering of gratitude, support & space for community building.

The outdoors is a powerful guide, giving tactile cues of the literal seasons during your practice. Experience your practice in nature’s landscapes, a freedom unlike any other. Channeling the energy of light, air, heat, and earth can propel a practice in unimaginable ways.

Community classes are always held in public green spaces and are opportunities to practice with our neighbors, families, and the friends we haven’t met yet. These classes are funded by donations. If you would like to donate, that is always accepted & appreciated! Suggested $8-20

Classes are weather permitting & will be cancelled for any inclement weather.
