Class is included for BFT members & always FREE for non-members; Everyone is always encouraged to join this FREE monthly Yin class (no sign-up required)!

Yin offers passive postures focused on opening the fascia, connective tissues & joint spaces in the body. Benefits include increased body awareness, release of stuck energy, deliberate rest, relaxation, and slow practicing. Postures are engaged for 3-5+ minutes to support increased flexibility & range of motion, which counteracts tension & stress, prolonged sitting, standing, and repetitive movements. It balances out cardio, strength training, running, cycling, and HIIT workouts. No yoga experience needed.

Yoga mats and yoga blocks are available.

gentle vinyasa

The kind & gentle-to-yourself vinyasa class. Utilizing synchronous breathing from posture to posture, emphasis is placed on the subtle experiences & sensations of the body and mind. Expect to move intentionally and with your own unique expression throughout a sequence of seated, standing, and ground-based postures. Class will encompass gradual utilization of twists, moderate compressions, and easy-going transitions. This offering is always donation-based!

YIN Yoga

Allow movement of stuck energy and welcome in rest. Postures are held for 3-5+ minutes to allow for passivity of musculature and subsequent stretching of the joint spaces. A resolute complement to Yang movements such as running, cycling, strength training, HIIT, etc. Invite in greater range of motion and overall flexibility with mostly ground/floor-based postures to open the connective tissue, fascia & subtle body. Allow the gentle traction of connective tissues to illuminate your internal spaces. Say hello to your subtle energy. Release muscular stress & tension. Embrace time for stillness of your mind. This offering is always donation-based!
